Preferred skills and experience

Demonstrable experience in the MicroStrategy product, preferably version 2020.
Experience of working with complex data models and very large datasets.
Strong data profiling, visualisation and analysis skills.
Ability to write complex SQL queries.
Excellent business communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

Developing an intimate and detailed knowledge of the business data and KPIs.
Developing reports and dossiers to meet Business requirements.
Analysing & troubleshooting poorly performing queries, reports, procedures and batch jobs.
Managing Windows Server’s hosting of the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server product set.
Being responsible for the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation.
Designing, building and deploying BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools).
Maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy).
Creating tools to store data (e.g., OLAP cubes using SSAS).
ETL techniques, Data Visualisation methods and master data management
Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting.
Creating visualizations and reports for requested projects.
Developing and updating appropriate technical documentation.
Database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks.
